Permission Post

There are going to be two aspects to this post.
First, Daneel possesses strong mental powers, although he's new to having them. He can read emotions -- not distinct thoughts, but the general emotional state. He knows what a human mind should feel like, or a robot mind for that matter. So, the first question I have is can Daneel read from your character, and what general impression he might get. If your character is not human, can he figure that out listening to the way their brain works?
Second, Daneel has the ability to subtly influence and change emotions in people. That is to say, he can encourage a feeling of trust, or a sense of charity, or suppress the desire to act. Because too strong a change will cause harm, he's reluctant to actually use this ability unless it's essential for the greater good. He's certainly not going to go make your character do something they normally would never want to do. Because of the massive amount of abuse inherent in this ability, I don't plan on Daneel using this ability very often, and certainly never without express permission from the person in question for that particular instance. Still, if for whatever reason they're immune in general, say so.

No matter what else he's thinking or feeling there's always this low-grade fury running underneath, and whatever emotion he's feeling is generally much stronger than what's showing on his face or in his body language etc. There are exceptions, but as a ruuuule he hides most of his cards.
Secondly, uh--Erik is 160% opposed to having his emotions influenced, but I as a player am definitely open to the possibility of discussion, at least! It's something we can revisit if an applicable situation arises? He's not immune for any reason I can think of other than being possessed of obnoxiously strong will.
